McMahon Lodge

To be concerned for those in need is an essential quality of a Freemason’s way of life.

Freemasons help each other when and where they can.  However, Freemasonry is also one of the UK’s leading organisations giving to non-masonic registered charities.

Individual Lodges raise funds for charitable giving and make donations to masonic and non-masonic causes.

The Master of McMahon Lodge usually serves for one year, and he chooses which charity will benefit from the money collected by the Lodge during his year of office. Charities supported in this way have been many and varied, and in recent years have included:

• The Meningitis Trust
• St Thomas’ Hospital
• Help for Heroes
• Combat Stress
• The PentUp Foundation.
